Strengthen & Stretch is an all levels Pilates/Yoga fusion class intended to get the body flowing at the start of your week. Classes are 60 minutes long and are a mixture of moderate strengthening of the entire body as well as ample breaks for stretching. Clients can expect to move their whole body in a class that flows in and out of strengthening Pilates sequences, short yoga flows that bring the heart rate up, and deep stretch postures. Pilates sequences are intended to be gentle yet challenging and yoga postures are held in order to breath, feel muscles elongate and heart rate slowing down. Many classes incorporate an aspect of challenging the balance but variations are offered for all levels. All movements are mindfully sequenced and coordinated with the breath before ending in Savasana.
